We are Florida Brass, formed in February 2003. Our mission is merely to enjoy ourselves at what we do best. Perform. We are a non-competitive Corps and at best, have a small drill. We only do parades, exhibitions and special events with the membership voting on every performance. Our membership is open to any qualified performer at least 18 years of age with Drum Corps, Band, Dance Troupe, Color Guard or Drill Team experience. We accept members without bias toward race, color, religion, gender, national origin or sexual preference. |
Airboating at home on Lake Istokpoga
Tom is presently retired and living in Lake Placid, Florida. His drum corps experience goes back to 1958 in Illinois with the Rockford "Phantom Regiment". After serving in the military, on discharge, he stayed on the East Coast to march with the Connecticut Hurricanes Senior Corps. 1972 was his last year in Connecticut, after which he moved to Miami and entered employment with Eastern Airlines. Thirty years later, once again, he is involved in drum corps with the "Florida Brass All Alumni D&B" and is a member of "Bugles Across America" as well. |
